My friend just emailed me this photo he recently took of the new Maserati MC12. At least 25 street versions will be made for homologation purposes. The more I see this car the more I like it. Maybe even more than the Enzo. What do you guys think?

    TEAK,

    See recent thread: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10035

I would take this over an Enzo ANY DAY. It is what the Enzo should have been IMHO.

I also like the full wing pictured above as opposed to the street version in the thread in "Other Italian" :D

Amazing how a Maserati thread winds up in Off Topic but threads that are TOTALLY off topic find their way into General Discussion... LOL...

i guess i'm the minority here; the car in that picture is gorgeous, no question about it, but i'd take one NNO over two of those things... Just my opinion, of course, but to me, the NNO still remains as the most beautiful car ever made.

I was just told this by a dealer just returned from Italy.
987 000 dollars for the street version and 1,187,000 for the racing
one. 25 street cars the first year and 20 the second.

He also had this to say:

"still I prefer the Enzo, even Frank Stephenson, the guy who
designed this Maserati says they could not beat the design of the
    Enzo.."

    I'm just quoting.

Hubba Hubba... It's got classic Le Mans verve a la the old long tail porsches.

Although, will parrallel parking be a problem ? Oh, and has it got cupholders ? Oh dear, I hope the ride isn't too jarring.

I couldn't think of a better way to blow a cool million.... well, the Carrera GT comes to mind. Hmmmmm
