It’s coming sooner rather than later. The F8 is probably going to be the last in the line. https://www-ibtimes-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/www.ibtimes.com/ferrari-reveals-details-future-full-ev-patent-submission-2910527?amp=1
Thanks! I will get to drive this one but mostly on short drives as I work for an authorized dealer. This is our first demo.
John has to be the best in his field, True Aussie NO ******** and says it the right way Should subscribe but do NOT get offended , especially if you are Religious American or Asian or anything to do with Audis, VW , Mercedes etc etc
True!, but get ready for the NO-sound at all or THE SOUND OF SILENCE!, Ferrari's full EV is now coming in less than five years! (CONFIRMED!), five years is a very short period of time! https://www.motor1.com/news/394853/future-ferrari-electric-vehicle-patent/
Uggh. Necessary but ... I’m just old school. The instant access to power (as in no down shift, up shift, etc. just press), taking tea while the car drives itself, and of course the deafening silence somehow have removed the fun for me. Oh well, my problem to work out. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I love this Coincid! This is a epic way of putting this as it is, and truly the way to recognize a true petrolhead when you look at a feature to be defeated
According to my dealer- The exhaust flaps can be disconnected and disabled. It will give the engine a deeper sound at idle and up to 3500 RPM at which point the flaps would open anyway on their own. Stop/Start function should stay in the mode that the vehicle is shut off in. So, if the system was disabled when the car was running and the engine is shut off , then it should restart in the disabled position. We also believe that the Manetino mode choice can disable the system as well. In full CST off,the system should automatically be disabled.
Believe me, you will first test it, and then you will probably give it a try, and as soon as you get used to, you will never go back! Forget about the sound, an EV from Ferrari will be too fast, faster than any other Ferrari! "REMEMBER THESE WORDS! AND KEEP THIS POST AS A MEMORY ! 28-1-2020 " * See you in five years!
LOL. Five years is about how long it will take for me to cozy up to EVs I’m afraid. Clearly, you are under the age of 40 Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Age is literally just a number. So you can either feel like that number or you choose to stay FORVER young!! Look at N. Campbell, she is almost 51 and looks stunning and still has the highest paid contract with Wella's Cosmopolitan for another 8 years to come! Again age is just a number and I personally would choose to be FORVER under the age of 18.
I haven't gotten much driving time in it yet - just moving it around the dealership. It is still is going through its PPI but weather permitting soon we should get to start offering drives in it. I did get to drive an Argento Nurburgring F8 back in November and really loved it. I commented then I was surprised how much the smaller steering changed the driving experience for the better for myself versus say that of a 488. I also love the Lexan glass but know not everyone feels that way. I also think from every angle except the side profile the car looks gorgeous but again that is subjective.
