Even though it was a challenge car, its essentially a 355 shell only.
Now if it at least included some of the special 355ch bits, i.e. brakes, springs, sway bars, ducts, under trays, the wing and the roll cage etc etc... Then it would be cool project.
It's seems to have already been parted out

What do you think he would ask for the one complete shell

At least 8k if not wrecked.

Lots of body parts are not available anymore people are buying front and rear clips around 4k each.

But who knows he may want much less.

I went and found him on Facebook and looked at all the pictures. They are all wrecked, the Challenge car has half the passengers rear quarter panel and tail panel cut off but looks easily fixable with the included body parts. Most of the package he’s selling is just scrap metal even to a guy like me who will rebuild anything. Rebuilding a challenge car from a near totally stripped, damaged tub would be one massive project.

Given these parts prices versus recent sales, these cars are almost worth more wrecked & parted out than clean & running.

But not in this particular case. These things are almost totally stripped. I few front suspension parts on the Main Challenge. I have shelves full of suspension parts no one wants to buy. You might get a few structural pieces cut off that might sell in the next ten years. The B car looks like it was a heavy burn car all warped from heat. Even the front bonnet on the challenge car is bent in half Etc. Really not much here other than a very ambitious, expensive project for someone with lots of time on their hands.

If I was set up here in Texas yet I’d probably make an offer on them and try to stash them in inventory for now. But things are moving slowly for me here and I would just have nowhere to put them.

These cars have been almost completely cannabalized. I don't see any value here.
