How many 360/430 owners have fitted a exhaust valve controller. I've been looking at several manufactures of switchable exhaust valve systems over the last few months
There are several company's that produce these devices. There's Capristo , Forza' and in the UK there's a company called cccharger.co.uk.

After looking at them all I decided to buy the UK cccharger kit mainly because of the very easy installation as there are no cables that need to cross over from one side to the other.

There are in fact two units which simply connect to each valve solenoid in a plug and play style. Units are very small and hid away nicely. Two very nice quality remotes come with it also in keeping with the Aston Martin quality which this company supplies units for as well as Ferrari.

Just wanted to see how many 360/430 owners have bothered with buying these or just take off the air pipes and plug.

I have capristo and it works okay but sometimes they freak out and open and close by themselves. I heard good things about the forza.

    Forza for me.
The option to have a hard wired switch in the cabin, and three modes (Open / ECU / Closed), in my view makes it hands down the best on the market.

Being able to keep the valves "always closed" makes it great for track days.
Then open them up for the trip home - as odd as that may sound !

I installed my three position switch in place of the cigar lighter in the ash tray.
Nice and discrete, and seeing as I'm not a smoker I don't miss the lighter !

I have one installed but don’t think it’s any of the brands above. Have a switch hidden under the dash.

Forza here. Installation a little fiddly but not too bad. Agree the three modes are a must. Always off is "stealth" mode.

Do I understand this correctly that you use quiet mode on the track? Or maybe I am misunderstanding.

That is correct. We have very strict noise regulations at race circuits for track days here in the UK .
And yes it sucks, a lot !

When put in manual mode can you still allow valves to controlled by the ecu?

The reason I asked is I recall that the manual for the Forza says they do not recommend wide open throttle in the closed position for any extended period of time because of heat issues.

With the forza unit, you can select always on, always off, or normal ECU control. Very handy.

I used to think I was going to purchase a Valve controller until I got the F430 /stradale set up (straight pipe when the valves hit) on my 360.

I've tried running valves open all the time just to see what it sounded like but the low RPMs are just terrible with the exhaust silencer bypassed.

My foot as a Valve controller seems to be an effective method.

My valves kick with more than 50% throttle above 3000 RPM and blip on the downshifts in race mode. (F1)

Is this how everyone else's operates?

I'm pretty happy with the setup so far.
