F8 Order Status

I suspect Ferrari has put some priority to the US now (for whatever reason), which reduces the allocations for Europe. My dealer (one of the largest in France) told me for the time being they only have 2 allocations per month (which is very low for what should be the most selling Ferrari).

 

If you love CF, I can see how you can hit 400k.............but I am under $340k and feel like I got everything I wanted (CF does not do much for me but I did do driver zone and air splitter.............if i want anything else, I will do it after market.

 

I reconfigured mine yesterday...not at order status but to add to the conversation Carbon does eat up cash. I went full exterior and some engine CF. I am at 372.500 thousand. Sharing my configuration:

I found out I am in the second half of 2020 or early 2021. Here in Oregon, we are hosting the National FCA in July. I am hoping I will be able to show the car.
It now is getting very tight for that.

 

Nice spec! But you can't help of feeling that some of these options are way overpriced. The factory makes the money on these, not the car.

Now that is one hell of an hourly rate for stiching. My friend owns a shop that makes custom stiching etc. It takes just minutes to have the Cavallino made... not hours. But options are still options right! Nobody is forced to take them.

 

Some of them are overpriced? They are all overpriced. Lol

 

Like 3000 Euro far a 100 Euro cupholder? Still, Apple Car Play must be the single biggest heist Ferrari has ever gotten away with. Charging that much for something that is essentially free in other cars,,,, impressive.

 

Red ring on the vents is not overpriced.

Still status 40. Very sad. Considering air freight... thoughts?

 

Patience is a virtue - I considered it for my car but 9k or whatever it was....I decided to wait the 4-5 weeks. was much more satisfying in the end.

 

I am still 40 too. Think It has been over 3 weeks now. Dealer is supposed to tell me when it changes - have not heard anything. My dealer said 15k for air delivery.

 

My dealer says 20k for air freight. Apparently it a set price from Ferrari and goes right on the build sheet and into the total MSRP. What that also means is it gets residualized in a lease deal.

 

Winter finally arrived in Colorado so I am not so upset right now. But next 70 degree day - I will probably be bugging the dealership again
They finally have Demo car so I am going to stop by tomorrow and check it out. They posted a photo on regular F8 thread. Looks great.

 

I ordered those too and about fell over when the dealer said there was no charge? Ferrari charges for extra air in your tires LOL.

 

Get those red rings while you can.....salesperson told me it’s just a mater of time before nothing becomes free.
