The 513/88 OM is for a later standard (euro) version 328 (K-Jetronic without Lambda, 9.8:1 CR).

Absolutely right, Steve (as usual): this owner's manual is only valid for the last year of production, as it has been printed in september 1988: it could not have been in the pouch of a car produced before.

One of the peculiarities of the 1988 production is that the cars produced after end February 1988 and chassis #76626 have the revised supension (except for a small number of mainly RHD cars), but the owner's manual was not amended until that edition in September (= 513/88), to include the correct suspension settings for castor, toe-in, pitch, etc...which were notably different than the earlier suspension settings.
Therefore, the cars produced between end February 1988 and end September 1988 with revised suspension had the earlier owner's manual with incorrect suspension settings...

Although the numbers are correct (which is very important to get right in the documentation), one thing I don't like with the 513/88 OM (which F seems to do in a lot of OMs that come out as a model evolves) is that the pictures are rarely updated -- so 513/88 still shows the earlier style 328 wheels (same in the TR OMs which all show the earlier single-lug wheels). Seems a strange oversight to me (but isn't as bad as supplying the early 328 OM with the later 328 you noted -- that is a sin! ;)).
