1990 Mondial T gearbox (same as the 348). I know that it's not the transmission fluid drain plug, as I've changed the transmission oil last year. I have been noticing the occasional drip of oil on the garage floor so I am investigating the underside of the car today. The plug/nut that I am pointing to in the photo turns freely and is not tight. Many thanks in advance. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've ever taken a 348/Mondial t trans apart, but my first guess would be item # 3. https://www.ricambiamerica.com/car-diagrams/ferrari/v6-v8/mondial-group/mondial-t/inside-gearbox-controls.html Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes. They are the pivot bolts for the shift fork bellcranks. Sealed with O rings as I remember. If loose someone probably loosened it trying to drain oil. Not good news. Will be an issue fixing it.
I didn't see the other thread, more responses here: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/what-is-this-plug-for-please.616679/
