Couldn’t see any other pics other than the main picture. That makes sense being a Type 52 junior as the F1 cars were type 51 in 1959/ 60 and Type 53 in 1960/61.....I’m guessing the junior will sell somewhere between 40K to 60K....
Would love to dust this off for Goodwood.....But I’m so time poor at the moment.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
https://www.news.com.au/finance/work/at-work/bartenders-pay-cheque-video-reveals-scary-salary-after-two-weeks-work/news-story/edb0b90f086212d7ba6ffe00c0ddf431 This is what gives me the ****s with the tipping system when you go out in the US Why the **** should I be paying for someones wage when the owner of the business is too ****ing tight to pay a decent wage **** off you rich ****s and pay a decent wage so people don't have to expect the generosity of patrons to fill in the wage gap the maggots don't pay due to the cheapskate attitude of the American system !!! I tip service people if they have gone out of their way to provide an exceptional service but I shouldn't be expected to pay the wages of staff working for the owner of the business I go to .... NO excuses, just pay people a decent wage !!!! I recently did an Inside Passage cruise to Alaska where they put a mandatory tip on EVERY bill and then put a mandatory tip for each day on the boat per person even if you never interact with the crew !!! FFS, shove this practice up your arse USA, it sucks and is demeaning to the staff to basically BEG for a decent wage from the clientele !! And it propogates itself in Canada as well. My partner and I were drinking at a bar in Vancouver and speaking to the staff there, the front bar head of staff said she made $17/hr but made sure no-one else could hear her as she didn't want to upset the other staff she managed She and her staff were exceptional, hard-working people being typical Canadians (very polite) and we left a generous tip for a couple of drinks because we felt they deserved it but also felt bad that they were working so hard for so little pay The ogovts of these countries need to wake up to themselves and pay people a decent wage so they can live a decent life. Not everyone can be a high flyer (like Steve and Gary ) but that doesn't mean you treat people like chattel
It’s the ex Bob Gerrard Rear Engine F1 Type 45 Cooper Bristol...They made quite a few front engine cars in the 50s but this was the only rear engine one produced for the 1959 Grand Prix season...It’s been in the family since 1962...My grandfather raced F1 with it in the early 60s and Dad raced it at Monaco around 15 years ago. It bounced around at all the usual race meetings in the golden 80s...:=)
Breath JM...Breath....Whooosahhh.....It does give me the fuksin brown pillows as well when I go out to eat and the service is crap.....I can’t wait to retire so I never have to fly back there...I now have to file an IRS tax return for being in their airspace and staying in their hotels...I’m an Aussie with zero connection to the states...Bunch of wankers......
$17ph plus tips in a country where housing/food/cars/fuel etc is cheaper than ours sound like a really good deal to me.
wooooo....i've been underpaying myself "Meanwhile, in Australia, the National Minimum Wage which is provided by the Fair Work Act 2009 and is reviewed each year is $19.49 per hour or $740.80 per week."
Vancouver is just as expensive as Sydney , housing , food, cars, etc So they're on the poverty line with that wage
https://lifepart2.com/what-does-it-cost-to-live-in-vancouver-british-columbia-canada/ $600K for a ONE bedroom apartment !!!
I can't think of anything the US does well. We don't want to follow their path. Bunch of wankers, well sorry 51% of them are
