Looking to buy a 1995 F355 Berlinetta sorted out for all the known problems and would prefer timing belt done 2019 or 2020. It doesn't have to be stock, upgrades like Tubi exhaust etc is fine.

Well F1s didn't show up until the 98 model year so you're good with a 95.

I think so. I inquired a while back and the dealer sent me this link. Shows all the records

The paperwork shows a major service cost the owner 28k , how often do they have to be done? How many owners have there been for this car?

wow! Looks sweet. Depends on the things needed for the major - $5-10K.
I am basing it on some information I have locally in NJ.
I would say of this car maybe on the lower end.

I am sure the far more experienced folks will chime in shortly - their will be some regional differences especially on orly rates, etc.

You can safely go 7 years between major services. The belts are rarely in bad shape or close to snapping. It’s the bearings and other things that wear out. Thankfully Hill engineering has produced better than OEM stuff that makes 7 years a non issue.

I spent $16k on my major last year, not including the tubi headers, fabspeed exhaust, new radiators and fans that I bought and had installed during that time. Total spent was $26k.

No way that was a run of the mill major. At that price Maybe a major and while at it replace the valve guides and while the patient is open maybe replace some piston sleeves and rings or what not which seems fairly common place.

$135 an hour. There was a lot of while we’re in there stuff done. Not a typical major at all. I had purchased it knowing I was going to do a through service on the car.

I love it, just finished a paint correction last weekend. I still have some TLC to do, but it will keep me busy. Dash leather, interior detail, Axle boots, engine/axle mounts and a major in the end of the year.

Yes, single stage paint. I use Adams Polish for my cars. I have their full product line for almost a decade now.

Cool. I'm a menzerna fan, myself. For anything driven regularly, their 3 in 1 can't be beat, IMO.
