I'm status 70 as of Thursday. On my last 488, I got pictures after it shipped and the final picture when it was half way here. The status and pictures definitely lag and arrive without rime or reason.. Our cars may already be on the ship. So, you have a new 812 coning as well?
Literally just got a text that my car is 90 and has left port on its way over. Typically 30 days on the water.
I have emailed my SA to find out if there was a status update. I hope he says the ship is on the water. He said he will give me the name when my car is on the ship so I'm not sure it's a big secret.
I've always been told that they don't reveal the name of the ship. I'll ask again and we can compare notes.
My dealer continues to say that they do not get the name of the vessel and therefore can’t share that information.
You do know that is BS. They have to send documents to the receiver. They do know the name of the vessel
I don’t know sh*t... After 6 brand new Ferraris’s, from 2 different dealers, over a 14 year period, that’s what I’ve been consistently told.
Looks like my F8 is not joining yours on the boat (so sad)...........still 70. Ugggh........maybe the next boat will leave this week with mine. On one hand, I love building the car to my specs........on other, I would rather buy used and not suffer thru this longgggggg, painfullllllllllll, wait to get my new car. For you guys that have been thru this over and over............not sure how you do it. Contrary to my approach to kids and relationships, I guess I lack patience when it comes to cars.
Based on my experience, I’m not sure the info your getting is accurate. Just saying, your car could easily be on the same ship. Give it a few days. Dust will settle.
My car has been on the ship for a few days now and I still haven’t seen a picture. They’ve always been very inconsistent.
I have all three pictures. Here is what my SA told me yesterday. Hi William. 90, in theory means that the car is on the water, but it also means that it is at the port in Italy and has left the factory. I am finding out and will report the name of the ship.
This is a bit concerning as my dealer assured me that partial electric on standard seats is “standard”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ordered my F8 January 2019, even before the presentation of the car, it was supposed to arrive Feb/March as the first client car to Spain, and I’ve just been told severe delays and it will arrive after summer. Any of you also with delays?
Europe has apparently been put very low on the priority list - I had officially ordered in April 2019 (with interest communicated months before) and was told (before I cancelled) that I could not hope for a delivery before June 2020; the allocations for Europe are very scarce currently, which delays expected deliveries (first deliveries in France will probably be in March, but for very few high priority customers - either first time buyers or "VIP").
It seems production is slow so far on most F8’s I have seen. But it is a new model and the option list keeps growing (which I assume can /will slow things down. I would guess in 6 months they will build them faster. I am at almost 3 months since 10R and still not 90 (but close!)
As I said earlier, it’s totally inconsistent. I went from 10R to 90 in less than 4 weeks. Others aren’t as far a long as mine and have all their pictures, and I haven’t received any. Some say they see their VIN number, but not me. Bill’s dealer says they’ll get him the name of the ship, while everyone is telling me no way. Nuts!
Agree! I had my vin by the time I was 20. They really need to hire one person to just update car status. 800 Cars a month is not hard to keep up with.
This is not only an Italian company - it is Ferrari. You're expecting a lot Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Lots of times your options are critical as to build time, customized options will always slow the build. I wanted opposing stitching (black and tan), but was informed it would add months to build,
