Still not finding the design remotely attractive. The racecars are better but...
Also can't help wondering why they went with piss yellow for production when they have velocity yellow for the racecar.

This vid shows a bunch of different color C8's in the sun.
Highliter yellow is at 2:30, 8:03, and on the road at 15:00

Look how close his left knee is to the wheel and the dash! The C8 has much more leg room for the passenger but the driver doesn't appear for someone his height to have much more than the C7 which wasn't a lot.

go to 15:25 He is a big guy, but never complains about room. I'm sure he would like more, but not enough to complain about. Does not like square top steering wheel. Does like body colored side blades.

I know it’s a great price point and it’s only the first year out. The will have to work out some bugs (2009 California)

But after watching that video, I’m less interested. It looks very claustrophobic and doesn’t have flowing lines.

They will sell a ton...... but once you have a Ferrari I don’t see going backwards. Every time I’d get into it I would say...... I wish it was a Ferrari [emoji16]

This has been replied to a thousand times. It's N O T a Ferrari replacement It's a high performance, rear engine, daily driver, at reasonable cost, with a warranty.

Yes I saw that. They used a truck to hide the engine in back.

annnd another one. 'Engineering Explained' - good engine, drivetrain info. These reviewers are usually held to a release date (today). They all post at once. Seems like 'TFL' posted 'early' yesterday.

Friend drove one on track. He said the styling looks like it was done by a kid with a screen a mouse and no asthetic sense, then "fixed by a comity." Lines and creases everywhere for no reason and no coherance.
The handling at the limit was "off".

    Its probably all fixable.
Its a vette, a nicer interior vette and this time the engine is in the middle.
Realisticaly its an 80k car and the faster ones will be 120k car when all is said and done. If paper numbers, ac, space and ease of use are your thing, its bang for the buck, same as it ever was.

Im sure ver 2.0 will be much better, and 3.0 better still, they have a way of developing the car over time. But its big and heavy, last decades supercar now.

They should have kept building a Fe car for those who need to get in and out easily while toting 2 sets of golf clubs, and then built a proper performance ME car for 120k.

Actually I agree on the styling. Its a 360 modena mated to an Aventador with a targa on top. But aside from the Butt it's not ugly.

I think the flat plane crank version could be really interesting.

It is what it is -- its an mass produced affordable 2 seat sports GT for the every man. People shouldn't try to read too much into it.

There are plenty of C7's available at discount. Wait 6 months to a year (after C8's are everywhere) and they will be an absolute bargain.
I think there will be some steep depreciation, but will level off. It's still a great car but it had reached it's limit.

Does anybody know if any C8s have been leased yet? The residual value in 3 years could be a telling number relating to anticipated depreciation.

I have no idea, but, I really doubt it. They have to fill 1+ yrs of customer orders first before 'extra' cars would available for lease.

To my knowledge there is no leasing program yet. But then they haven't sold one car yet either.

It will probably take a few months to get leasing information.

If it looks like this, great choice of color.

Is there black, don't think I've seen a picture of one.
