    Does anyone out there know what the weave format is on the OEM 458 carbon fiber dash ? I found on this forum that the F430 is 1x1 plain weave and I imagine the 458 is the same - but it would be good to know for sure in order to match / buy more parts ? Y

    Ferrari only uses 1x1 weave for cosmetic carbon fiber. Some non visible parts are 2x2 I believe.

    The question is WHY? Why does ferrari use 1x1 on their carbon parts, interior, etc. 2x2 looks so much better. Only older lambo's used 1x1 and for last 10+ years have been 2x2.

    It’s number 282 carbon fiber 5.7oz T300 plain weave if you want to be specific
