I can't make my mind up if it'll be very easy to copy or a complete nightmare. In my head it seems to be quite simple. Yoke-y steering column that's attached to track rod actuator thingy that'll move in a few mm in or out. But surely it's not THAT easy. The other thing no one is talking about anymore is Mercedes rear suspension that effectively stalls the rear diffuser...THAT is not possible to copy for this season and IMO has a bigger advantage.
Adrian Newey's opinion about DAS: "Controlling the tyre temperatures is not enough for me. There must be aerodynamic reasons. I'm having a hard time seeing how this is legal. The driver doesn't steer the car when he pulls the steering wheel towards him or pushes it away."
AMuS Honda switched the power unit in the Red Bull during the lunch break yesterday after the data spat out suspicious signals. A thorough check showed that it was a false warning. According to Team info, the Power Unit should do its job again today.
