This my third go around on trying to restore the stock fasteners for the suspension , spent hours with wire brush then tumbling them and the zinc plating just never look wright . Finely using 80 grit glass beads in my Harbor Freight blasting cabinet cost around 100.00. Took less than one hour now WOW !! Now they are ready for zinc re plating . Leaning curb I guess wend done with the suspension maybe good as a pro IMO. I love Harbor Freight !! good enough stuff for a novice

Might be the most epic rebuild ever. Down to nuts and bolts. You have built a machine- and surface coating shops around your car! Wow! Thats perfectionism to the max or a bad case of OCD. Maybe both in a good way
Before I removing bushings and ball joints bead blasted with 80 grit glass beads, I can not believe how long it takes to do just one control arm one hour or more...

Big snow ball !! All I wanted to do was detail all suspensions and changes to Ti springs. One thing led to another from tie rods ends then flamblocks ball joints boot covers drop links shocks bushings upper and lower . And all this needed to be replaced rusted ball joints lose tie rods rubber boots falling apart . I am almost positive that none of this stuff shows up with a PPI inspection report either. 360 mileage only 21050 miles not allot of miles IMHO Sent back Superformance flamblocks lower one had wrong size hole for stud bolts below are finale purchase parts Factory Challenge flamblocks uses stainless roller bearings not rubber inserts uppers and lowers 16 total 2600.00 CS Ti springs front and rear 1132.00 x 4 total 4528.00 Upgraded ball joints from Hill engineering uppers and lowers plus ball joint glue and glue gun total 1070.00 Four new drop links front and rear 4 240.00 Rear tie rods ends Hill engineering stainless two 992.00 Front tie rods ends Hill engineering stainless two 404.00 Front and rear torsion bar rubber 91.34 Rear lower wishbone bolts 8 51.36 Upper front and rear shock absorber bushings 4 total 278.00 Lower front and rear shock absorber bushings 4 total 103.08 Replacing nuts to high quality yellow nyloc nuts 60 total 105.00 Just cost of parts no shipping cost or any taxes total of 10231.78 no labor cost 10462.76 Hopefully I am saving a good bit of money in labor doing it my self I think a dealer would charge 3000.00 to 5000.00 or more 10462.76 divided by four cost per corner 2615.69
