Has to look the same. SRI hoses do not. There are choices that do.

I've heard that story many times too.
Some where resprayed in more appealing colours to move them off the showroom from brand new too.

In the early 80's they had a lot of paint issues and we did a lot of warranty paint work prior to them switching to Glasurit. What is being talked about here is workmanship issues and shipping damage. Shipping damage is common. Point is a lot of brand new cars have paint repairs even before being delivered to the dealer. Great paint was never one of the things Ferrari was known for. People want a hand crafted car and they want perfection too. What a joke. I don't know how many people I have told if you want perfection go buy the cheapest Toyota made. They are all punched out of a machine in perfect little rows like Famous Amos cookies.

Seems perfection and a very high price don't always match up.

Its not about perfection and never was. Unrealistic expectations have been created by salesmen, magazine writers and people who start wives tales about all manner of things.

A 1960 Buick was more perfect than a 1960 Ferrari and that has never changed.

I had not seen it before.

Interesting that Ferrari points out that the turbos are made in Japan. Also interesting how slow the steering rack is. (I have fully come-to-peace with the slow 308 rack and have come to like it.) (… Stockholm Syndrome, I'm sure.) Who is the driver in the video? I half wonder if he is double-declutching, based on the cabin footage, but shifts are tremendously fast.
