Happy ending!!! This car IMO was not really devalued at all, but the market is what It is!! That's one fine machine!
I gave up trying to sell my F12 on this website and consigned it to the local Orlando, Fl dealer. Contract is almost expired. Let me know if you want to make a deal. 2013 with 17K miles. Pristine condition, clean carfax, $391K original MSRP. Lots of carbon fiber inside. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/2013-f12-red-w-tan-beige.608384/#post-146903359
My wife's Lexus was hit by a kid on bicycle while sitting at a stop sign. no injuries but it was reported to the police . The damage was a scratched bumper & came out to $1000.00 later on when i went to sell the car car fax listed as having been in an accident with no explanation of the extent of damage of course. I carry high deductibles on my cars since I never file frivolous claims. So because of this stupid reckless kid the cars devaluation plus my out of pocket expenses I figured losses of about five grand. I have had problems through the years with two other cars that were never in accidents but got posted on car fax as such because of clerical errors by police reports. So car fax sucks in my opinion.
