I’m hoping you know something that I do not? I’ve hear rumors that the US spec cars will be louder than euro spec.

Down in Vic we have the F8's in mid April. Were they RHD ? Were you able to take it out by yourself ?

Both were RHD Aussie cars, no they didn’t let us go solo. Customer cars arriving in a few weeks. The thing is a blast, you’ll have some fun in them.

Don't get the comparison to F40 which actually raced. Weight and materials critical so is cooling in that car. Besides its an iconic hypercar directly related to Enzo. The F8 is the current high production mid-engine and the Lexan is purely cosmetic. Most seem to like it and some don't.

    Good for you!

I was touring the v8 production line last week and out of maybe 50-cars, the majority were still Pista, with a few Pista Spyders and still only a handful of F8's.

Got to take an F8 for a short spin at the dealership today. Holy Jesus that thing is fast. Shocking amount of torque down low in the rev range and then just a blistering top end surge. Made the 550 Maranello I drove home in...feel like a Toyota Corolla. I cannot image anyone not being pleased with the driving experience. The only issue I see is where to use all that power on the street. I would be UNDER the jail in no time.

Could be a potential sub 10 second quarter mile car, we’ll see!

Is the F8 sold out in the US? Can someone still order one?

They are still taking orders....in South Florida it’s a 20 thousand dollar deposit and you are put on a waiting list for an allocation.

Probably best to wait for the secondary market. With Pista trading hands below MSRP I’d imagine F8 will as well. Waiting list is probably 18 months.

Being a standard production car, if you want an F8, and you're patient, you'll get one. The Ferrari days of old are over.

Define patient. 4 years. Doubt if the model will be in production that long.

I see one car- super high msrp with 2500 miles below msrp. Everything else is at or well above.

They’ve barely started producing the car. There’s plenty of time. No need to discourage an excited buyer with myths of days of old. At this stage, if he wants an F8 he should engage with a dealer and it will happen. I would also encourage him to call many dealers, not just his local. That’s another “Ferrari of old” practice that many dealers couldn’t care less about. Things have changed quickly in the past few years.
