I almost bot a nice 599 in 2016 but seller somehow refused to sign contract at the end and then I moved to Mclaren camp for 2 years before switching back to 458. I am still owning that 458 and it is fun and a good daily car. I have no great of buying a 458 esp it appreciates in 2 year time.

But trying a v12 is still my plan and now price is so attractive, like gsholz said now the price is very similar to 430.

Now that Ferrari is doing more "in house" design, I think Pininfarina designs will have some collectable traction in the future. The classic Pininfarina look can not be matched. Subtle lines, very few sharp edges, always an amazing profile are the traits of a Pininfarina design. The Pininfarina look reaches back to the same theme of the early Ferrari's. The 599 is the last Pininfarina front engine two passenger V12. I believe it will make the 599 more collectable over time.
