I'd take the 488 because they both don't sound that good and the 488 is a better car

Sound is a big part of the experience for me as you can't use the power, (though this has plenty).
This is what I'd have, excuse the driver!!
    N/A all the way :p

Not to mention 3 or 4 years remaining of factory warranty vs none, more modern interior (even though it looks much the same, the 488 is better).

And, if sound is the only problem, I can always drive the 355. :D
Driving it home tonight, it's such a great car. Don't really know why I want anything else...

I will never want another car and will be sad the day I sell it when I'm too old to get in or out, which as you know is a bit of a ballerina act :)

Half your luck mate, I went to start mine two days ago to let it run and warm up while I mowed the back lawn and the new battery I fitted around 6 months ago is dead flat lol. :(

It's been raining here also, so next days off I will run some extension leads out there and charge it up again and will hurry up and fit that new solar panel trickle charger to stop the battery going flat.

I haven't driven it since I replaced that failed alternator adjuster bearing, I think September last year since I last looked at the car, let alone started it or driven it. :(

This was posted in the 348/355 forum a day or two ago, showing off the best and rarest version of the 355. You probably don't want to watch the whole thing, but...
For the sake of dragging up one of the oldest debates in the book, a little after the 21:20 mark he does a flat out run from 1st to about 4th in sport mode and shifting high up. You cannot tell me that those shifts are slow compared to a manual car.
Yes, they are slow compared to a 488, but slow in the real world? BS.
Around a track, every shift is like that, and completely reliable, whereas Moretti's arm will start to hurt, he'll forget what gear he's in, his leg will go dead..

    He's got no chance.... :p

Gawd, he doesn't even own one,
28.50 "there will be a 355 in my future at some point"
    and then this;
28.03 "I love the styling, I'm particularly fond of the wedge shape, the 348 looks good, but they perfected the wedge with the 355"
Well they have pretty much the same shape, so I don't see how they perfected the wedge on the 355.
And BTW this is "the best and rarest version" in action

So what if he doesn't own one? He owns a 430 and a 458 and is good mates with the guy who does own it so knows the car well.
Does Chris Harris own one of every car he tests?
The 348 and 355 are pretty much the same shape for sure. They just perfected it with the 355. Like he said.
And yes, of course the F355 Challenge is the rarest version. I should have said "intended for the road".

Anyway, I don't give a **** about the review or the video as such. I was just pointing out that those shifts are not slow.
Faster, in fact, than in the videos you posted. So thanks for proving my point. :D

Nah, that battery is usually good for a few months without any form of trickle charge etc.

It's one of those red top batteries, I must have got a **** one lol.
