The SF90 weights 1880 kg. Put a fat ass driver inside and you truly have a porker. You should have 1200hp at all times, no e-engine disengaging.

It will certainly be heavier than the LF, but the number you are quoting is pure conjecture.

Actually someone claimed to be in the know. That's as reliable as asking a politician for the truth...

Please provide some evidence to that. It's 1600 standard and 1570 kg with Assetto pack. Unless you have seen it on the scales, or have a solid confirmation on this, you are simply posting personal assumptions with no proof. Again, as long as it has not been weighted, we need to keep to the data points we have.

Ferr9000 confirmed that most of us thought, this car is a porker. But honestly I’m not surprised, Ferrari launched a car that’s fully in aluminum and has put just a small piece of carbon fiber between battery and driver and calls it hybrid chassis.
Ahahah what hybrid?! The chassis is 99% made of aluminum!

Don’t worry you will find out it’s a porker soon as soon as it’s launched.
Even vettel at launch told you could feel the weight

I think it’s safe to assume it will be comparable to the 918 in weight and performance

Considering the fact that the SF90 has lapped Fiorano faster than the La F, I think it is safe tovsay it will outperform the 918.

I think the debate about track performance of road cars is overrated. These cars are made to be fast and street legal. A „simple“ 488 Challenge is cheaper than SF90, LaF, P1, 918 and whatever and much faster on the track.

As someone who ordered SF90 i have now a question for all of you.... 765LT just now released and we all know how 720S destroyed Pista F8... now with 765LT (rumored to be faster than Senna), I do believe it will beat SF90 in track 100%, but in straight line performance, look at these and decide... Senna>P1>LaFerrari... now if 765LT beats these cars doesnt it mean it beats SF90???? Keep in mind 720S does 0-200 in 7.2 (claimed 7.8s) and 765 does in 7.2S claimed so in reality might be 6.6s which is a tenth faster than SF90! So basically what makes SF90 special now? A more limited more extreme better sounding more aggressive car beats it while being 150-200K cheaper... so are we paying for the badge or paying for the hypercar performance which now seems is beaten by a Supercar

So say you cancel the SF90 and order the 765LT. You'll be in the same exact situation in a few years yes?

Its true but LT owner wont be thinking about this much and the reason is he paid a reasonable price for a special edition vehicle, while SF90 is claimed a (bargain) for its price to performance basically matching LaFerrari P1 918 with 600K$, so doesnt this mean 765LT just now killed the main purpose buying SF90? Or main purpose buying SF90 is to be fastest Ferrari? Cause fastest Ferrari these days is beaten by 3-4 Mclaren Vehicles... of course numbers not everything but tbh i dont see something special offered in SF90 like Ferrari V12 sound, or limited series, or the looks, the only thing is see is more everyday usability than its competition can do

Also btw im not cancelling SF90 order, i cant stand buying a Ferrari competitor, im just a Ferrari fan who wants more from Ferrari and doesnt like to see it in the shadows of Mclaren or Porsche cars....

So, now you want to compare a SF90 Stradale (for ROAD) with a 765LT (for TRACK) ? ok, have it. (for the next 5 years :( )

Hard to say, given no formal tests of the SF90 or 765LT. That said, say the 765LT is faster.

You leave out two important considerations. One, some folks don't approach buying these toys with a value mindset. Two, end-all speed is not everyone's prime consideration when purchasing these cars.

To those where speed/per dollar is the primary consideration (especially on track). There are much cheaper options then McLaren, so it's a very slippery slope.

As far as being in the shadow of Mclaren or Porsche. Always will be a faster car out there. I personally (and my friends that own Ferrari) know this, and don't care because we don't race on the street.

There is a track for that, and you're either racing against yourself or are in a formal series. I've found most folks in a multi-make event are open minded about other manufacturers.

Finally, competition is good. It would be a boring and dull world indeed if Ferrari was the only exotic maker.

Alas, our friend said it himself. He's sad that the upcoming McLaren and future Porsche will put his SF90 in a shadow. I've seen these sentiments many times, especially when watching any of the Fast n Furious movies.

@Mohamed Almarzooqi unfortunately, we've been in the shadow for the last 10+ years already. Maybe Vettel and Leclerc can pull us out this year.
