I don't think that's an issue. Judging from the photo of his car, it looks like he was t-boned (thankfully, not in the door), which would explain a concussion and whiplash. I think only a HANS device would have prevented injuries like that.

Charles asking Kawhi after the All Star game what it's like being a Cyborg was the best part of the weekend. Kawhi, as any cyborg would do, simply played dumb and said "what's a cyborg?". LOL.

I still believe the NBA Finals this year is going to be Lakers vs Bucks, LA taking it 4-2 and that’s going to be a fitting tribute to Kobe.

I don’t see any team matching the Lakers’ dominance inside (Davis, McGee, Howard) and experience all around.

Their decision to ditch their rebuilding youth to the Pelicans will seem to have paid off, namely if they do take the NBA Championship this year, but in 3 years’ time Lebron will be almost 40 and they’ll hit rock bottom again and have to rebuild from scratch, as opposed to have kept their youth and dominate the league in the next 6 or 8 years.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

Nah. Lebron is just piling stats but he will not do anything against Kawhi. Clippers VS Bucks I’m sure on that.

Oh yes I have! Thanks for bringing it up. I have such incredible memories of that time and he encapsulates all of it. Just finished part 3 and loving it but boy do I miss the 90s.
Maybe it deserves its own thread to honor the goat of goats (and to not get depressed seeing these nba posts from just 2 months ago)?

I hope these young kids in the NBA step up their game/mentality after watching this. Players have gone too soft and getting paid too much money.

Yep I'll be watching the last 2 tonight. 7 and 8 were fantastic. I'm a Magic fan so last Sunday's were fun to watch seeing that old footage.

With the chance of playoffs this season looking more and more doubtful, are we ready to proclaim the Milwaukee Bucks as the NBA champs for 2019-2020? They have a 3-game lead over the next best team (the Lakers) and were the only team playing over .800 basketball.

Finished watching it. Excellent documentary. It's probably not news to anyone here, but the shoes Jordan wore for his last shot with the Bulls was inspired by his Ferrari 550 Maranello. That shoe (Jordan 14) was the first and only game he wore them in those Finals. He wore the 13s the game before where he missed the last shot.

Btw pretty nice red 993 Turbo S in episode 9 he was driving around in.

I should clarify the timeline of shoes he wore in my post. Game 6 "last shot" was the 550 Maranello Jordan 14 and game 5 was the Jordan 13. But he wore the Jordan 14 in Games 3 and 4 in Chicago...my mistake on that one as I said game 6 was the only one he wore it in.

Nice photo screenshots of the cars from the documentary here, too: https://sports.yahoo.com/see-every-one-michael-jordans-162000263.html

Pippen had a Mercedes CL/S-coupe. I couldn't tell if it was a 500 or 600 as he was blocking the c-pillar that would have shown a V12 logo or lack of one.

My 12 year old son and I are debating:
He thinks players of today are better than the players if the 80' & 90's.
I told him there are alot more GOOD Players today. There were alot more GREAT players back then.

    What do you guys think?

evolution is the winner. kd bringing the ball up, crossing over, and hitting a 25 ft jumper at 7' would not be believed in the 80s. steph hitting consistently from 30' would be inconceivable
