Gentlemen, Would anyone know what is the spare wheel tire circumference for the F430 I would imagine the 360 would be the same Curious how it compares to the front and rear tire circumference and interacts when mounted with tire rotation sensitive modules and rear diff. Thanks in advance..
The circumference of my 360 Spider Spare tire is 77 inches. See attached photos. Note the tire size is T125/80Rx17 yet my car has 18" wheels/tires. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank You Sir.!! My spare wheel measures 79" If your vehicle is measuring like mine you will find a significant difference between front and rear wheels in regards to rolling circumference. This is not that concerning for the front application a little more for the rear..the diff is open when posi is unactivated so the difference between left or right rolling circumference should be compensated within the ring and pinion except there are clutch packs between them..I would hope the system does not activate thinking there is slippage causing premature wear. Has anyone had experience with rear spare wheel application.? Thanks.
You do not need the circumference on a tire to compare to other tires, just the diameter will do. Ratios are the same. The F430 spare is actually a 115/70 19. 115/70 19 tire has a diameter of (115/25.4 x .70 x 2) + 19" = 25.34" 225/35 19 tire has a diameter of (225/25.4 X .35 x 2) + 19" = 25.20" 285/35 19 tire has a diameter of (285/25.4 X .35 x 2) + 19" = 26.85" This is a tire you do not want to drive too far at all on the rear. Pretty close match to the front, so just make sure your flat is on the front.
