    Purchased this WP from a well known vendor in NJ, USA. I am hesitant to install it due to these craters, voids in the casting. What do you think?

    I think some good gasket adhesive/sealer and you’re good. Too bad they’re using poor cores but there are only so many good cores out there.

    Yes I agree. Gasket with liquid gasket/dealer and you wil have no leaks.

    At some time it whas also dropped to the floor. See mark on the lowest part on that picture. I would think you have reason enough to complain.

    That can be easily repaired via cold-spray technology. But it should have been done during the manufacturing/re-manufacturing process, not by the customer.

    Sorry, but your pump shouldn't have passed quality-control. And no way would I use anything like that on a 3.4 motor (which I see you don't have).
