How does the interior rear view mirror come off? Is there a trick or a hidden set screw?

There is slight de-lamination on the mirror edges and for about $100 from Ricambi I ordered a new one.

    Thanks,
    Cheers,
    Corey

Its held in place with mechanical tension simply slide it upward paying close attention to your angle.

So don't pull back or forward, just slide upwards?

Hey Corey, did you ever figure this out? Mine is also showing wear, considering replacement options including maybe one with a battery operated homelink but may just do the stock one.

Got the stock one a few years back from Ferrari of PA for like $30. Like the post says, they just slide up.

Cheap enough. I believe that originally it was a Fiat or Alpha mirror. I'm unsure of the model.

It is marked ferrari in the plastic so they modified the injection mold from Fiat or Alpha.

Finally going to give this a go tomorrow to swap in a new one. Hopefully it is as easy as it sounds :)

It's easy to remove just slide it upwards with a little wiggle. There is a little ball inside the base that holds a bit on tension on the tab glued on the windshield.
