    Yes, the knockons of this are horrendous but in some ways may prove useful... IF Australia learns not to rely so heavily one 1 group of students/ customers/tourists/ suppliers etc. The whole bat /rat thing is a diversion IMHO.

    Ironic that in one section of aviation this is losing vast amounts of business (sorry to hear your situation Gary, and I’ve heard that other airlines / pilots are much worse affected), yet in ours it’s creating work (not suggesting ours is business, but you know what I mean).

    Chloe and I were sent yesterday morning to pick up the first SA case from Darwin and fly them to Adelaide.
    We got a couple of hundred miles but had to return due to a tech issue.
    Another crew left later and completed the job. RFDS WA section took a patient from Darwin to Perth in one of their jets at the same time, and right now our jet is picking two more patients up in Darwin and taking them to Melbourne!

    Yeah not good in HKG Steve....They recon we are loosing 1M HKD per hour....75 % of our fleets , HK express , Dragon and CX ) are now parked with more to come...I’ll have to send my resume to Greg for a new Spa / Pool cleaner as I heard the last one just disappeared after cleaning Ian’s car.....:)

    Prior to the 737 Max debacle, Cramer was suggesting that his viewers buy Boeing because of the strength of its order book. I wonder how such an investment fares today.

    Normally I would have thrown it over to him but do you think he's skilled enuff to drive something as classy as the red one?
    I know he used to fly the bigger one but that'd be like driving an automatic Hiace van...which he'd be used to......... driving his 355...
