458 Retrofit OEM parking sensors

    Dealer says they can retrofit OEM front and rear parking sensors.

    Anyone did this? I wonder how they will look? Will they be exactly the same as if the car would have been built with them?

    Hi, yes I was told the same by my dealer and chose that option for rear sensors as it was less than half the factory price. I have no problem at all with how they look and perform. They had to paint match the part which was done flawlessly and then had to update the software which required an order from Maranello delaying things a few days. Sensors and dash perform and look as you would expect as if from the factory.

    I wonder how many other options can be added at a later date!? Electric retracting mirrors perhaps? Missed seeing/checking that box and it is my only (tiny) regret.

    OEM reversing sensors retrofit is a from me.

    Could you post some pictures? I wonder if they are exactly the same as if the car would have been built with them.
