    Wondering if one of our French 308/328 guru's can identify the function of this item in the front compartment (seems to be a Valeo part) of a late '85 French delivered Quattrovalvole?

    It looked to me like either a battery isolator or an alarm / security device. Was this an official option for French / Benelux market 308 / 328's? Or just a period dealer fitted accessory?

    Just a custom battery isolator. No option or genuine parts. Many cars are modified like this by owner or dealer, my two 328 have same stuff at the same place

    I have two holes at the exactly same spot on my French 308 QV (delivered in December 1984), it makes sense now...

    Should have been a Pozzi "additional" option from these years...
