    I've had a capristo level 3 for a number of years now and I think next service I will go back to stock for the reasons you mentioned - its just too loud below 3k but blissfull after that. It spends too much time below 3k before I can get away from traffic and let it sing above 3k. After a number of years time to go back to stock.

    The thing is to keep it above 3 and it's better for the engine to be at higher rpms.

    Looks like you did a good job evening out the tip placement. The misalignment is common, as they’re hand made/welded I think. We struggled to get mine lined up but eventually did. Another issue for me was getting the tips to hang rearward far enough that the exhaust condensation did not drip on the bumper panel. The liquid is acidic, so you definitely don’t want it to drip onto the painted surface.
