Does anyone know where this car ended up? Very cool colour! https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1968-maserati-ghibli-2/ I seem to recall Austria? Anyone on here? It would be great to see the restoration process.
I guess they are out there. The BaT car sat for decades, so definitely not the same car. Fabulous colour. Works so well on the Ghibli. Magnifico!
Image Unavailable, Please Login Colour is such a subjective thing! My Ghibli #274 was delivered in Verde Gemma with Senape leather and try as I might I really can’t grow to like the paint - my 12 year old son loves it however. The remaining area of original colour on the bootlid is actually a rather dirty green with very little metallic. I can only think that a lot of restored cars have been sprayed in a ‘re-imagining’ of it for extra ‘pop’. The well known green car at RM’s London auction last year springs to mind. Anyway. To paraphrase goldeneagle’s Post from a few years ago Monica Belluci doesn’t look better for dressing up like Lady Gaga. All IMHO of course! Best. Mark.
Hello Mark.. I must agree with you as well - color is a very subjective thing.. My car came in the same color or very similar green... I just couldn't do that to the car.. I think a lot of other colors look better on a Ghibli... Mike
Looks like there’s a whole batch of Grigio Flemington cars being completed, still tempted Mark? Julian Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
And I’ve adjusted the passenger door up already and the drivers side is a little low too. Little tweaks seem to burn up all the time

Way below estimate. I wonder how much the virus scare played in the results. Did you see the car? Ivan
I don't believe the auctions were cancelled at all see below. https://k500.com/stories Regarding that Ghibli spyder even though an SS apparently it needed attention. Now that the speculators are gone this is a correct price. In the medium term the virus could help make these cars a refuge investment again as the economy sinks because of it.
No I heard from a friend that they had cancelled the remaining auctions. I mean what could go wrong with so many well healed older folks in attendance right?
Probably not over here, at least not just yet but then we're starting from a very strong position. Stock market is a Duncan yo yo though within a certain range.
Just watched a 1971 Ghibli go through Mecum for $295,000. Red exterior nice. Didn't get a look at interior or engine.
