I just took delivery of my Pista and will track it frequently.

On top of the classical paint protection film (PPF) for the whole front of the car and the side skirts ('bargeboards'), I wonder if the rear fenders and carbon rear air intakes are also exposed to stone chips on track.

I would appreciate to get the opinion of Pista owners who have tracked their car!

    Many thanks

I figure with the CF options and extra camp stripes on the 3-layer paint, looking at protecting >$80k worth of options on the outside of the car. A full wrap is in my plans.

Full wrap is up to you, but 100% yes on the rear fender, but mainly on the portions behind the rear wheels that face the ground. This is in direct line of small rocks/chips that get kicked up from your rear tires.

If you don't, it'll look like somebody sand blasted it, with tiny dots of white primer showing.

    DO NOT RISK IT.

I did a full PPF by XPEL, in house, on my 458. Tracked it. Then realized they didn't wrap the skinny rear fender and it completely sand blasted away the paint. Don't just pay someone to PPF it, inspect it yourself! What a nightmare. (They kept my car over a month and didn't even wrap one of the most vulnerable areas. Wrapped right up to it, then stopped. Thanks XPEL. Good film, bad installers.)
