Baitschev, You have great wall art! My Grandfather built board track racers in the 19teens so I especially like those shots.

Not much of a garage yet, but it has my newly acquired fcar. It’s humble, but I’m young with plenty of time to upgrade. There are plans to turn the adjacent shop into two more bays... probably in the next in the next year or 2. Will update then... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yup, though i guess with declining international trade its back to warm bitter for us Brits. Same as WW2, though at least that wasn’t boring !
Not as fancy as a lot of garages, but it’s not a bad place to work on cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks! That Lexus is amazing. 20+ years old, 85K miles (I’ve put 52K miles on in the past five years) and is like new. Runs like new, looks like new, costs nothing to maintain. It’s my daily driver and keeps the miles down on the other cars. A lot of car for my $12K purchase price.
2 words: build quality. I’m a big fan of Japanese engineering. I recently unloaded a vastly over valued Rolex Daytona and bought a far nicer (limited edition) Seiko chronograph for about 5% of the price.
My garage is in process as well. It is 36' x 84' = 3024 Sq. Ft.. I have 14' walls. It will have a full bathroom, HVAC, sufficient lighting (for my old tired eyes), air lines run throughout, a lift, and a 'mancave' setup: pool table, dart board, pinball and arcade machines, a full bar, and a projector to watch a 20' screen for sports/movies/etc... Meanwhile, my poor car sits outside under a tree with the top down. I have to pick out a hundred leaves every day, never mind the pollen and tree droppings on the paint. The detail guy is going to put a kid through college on me by the time this garage is done (guessing 3 more weeks).
It rarely gets more than mid 90's here. We do have humidity problems though which is the real reason for the HVAC.
Not that long ago I think $12 million could have bought a significant percentage of the entire state of Arizona. What's with that ad? Why do they put the most important pictures, the garage, at the end instead of the beginning?
I was at Stanford Med in Jan and saw your car on a side street. Wonderful color and perfectly understated.
