Hamilton: "I am very, very surprised we are here. It is great we have races but for me it is shocking that we are all sitting in this room (media centre). It seems like the rest of the world is reacting, probably a bit late. The NBA has been suspended yet F1 continues to go on." Image Unavailable, Please Login
This happened a few hours ago, the driver is ok. “It looks like the [pedal] went to the floor, but then no pressure, so the front brake has locked up as he's tried to stop. “Obviously not enough braking to stop, so it looks like he hit the wall at about 80km/h.” After returning to the team garage, Jones confirmed he was uninjured. “[I’m in] a little bit of shock, but it’s pretty standard. I feel OK," he said. “Hopefully we can assess what’s wrong with it and fix it.” Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date

I know Liberty wants/needs to have this go off without a hitch, but I have a feeling it will get canceled at the 11th hour.

McLaren making the tough but right call. I applaud them and will show direct support by buying more of their product (hopefully the market treats me kindly in the coming months).
Mclaren will need to be in quarantine for 2 weeks so they won't be making Bahrain either.... if there is a Bahrain.
What they say and do are very different, the pack of cards is falling now due to the stupidity of holding this race. McLaren have acted in the right professional way.
They only said there won't be a race if a team can't travel due to travel restrictions. Brawn then went on to say. "Obviously if a team makes its own choice not to go to a race, that’s their decision."
