If it were LHD, had Daytonas and Modulars, I could see it being worth $300k

maybe its just me, but with whats going on in the world, I don't see people buying high priced items, not knowing if there will even be life moving forward.

So instead of buying and garaging this car the whole time and worth around what they paid for it (nominal), not counting garaging/maintenance costs, they could have put the cash in an index fund and doubled it.

    Drive your cars people.

Agree completely. No modern volume Ferraris are investments - regardless of provenance.

I Agree. Buy right. Take good care of your car and maybe someday you get most of your money back.
This car... well, good luck getting most of your money back-- or even any driving enjoyment. Because if you do; oh the mileage

    My take?

    It was a bad investment.

It was a horrible automobile (since it was not ever actually driven)

It was a nice piece of art.

The Ferrari Museum in Maranello might be interested. Cars are like people. If you don’t use them they dry out. ;)

My first 911 years ago (and I mean years ago) was a low 28K mile '69. The PO bought the car drove it sparingly when he came home to south Florida; as he was an entertainer in Vegas. After I bought it and started driving it on a regular basis I began to hear the rear half shaft carrier bearings growling. Upon inspection, I found them dried out and lacking sufficient grease. I had to replace them. Take it as a cautionary tale...;)

Even not so low mileage cars can suffer from sitting around just looking good.
