Living for the winter close to the late Preston Henn's Swap Shop in FL... there are Ferrari engines on pallets scattered about the place w no ID.

Time to play "Guess the Engine".

Doesn't the V10 (#4) have to be an F1 engine from the early 2000s?

I'm outclassed too. I was going to guess #2 was a Briggs & Stratton used on lawnmowers! :D

I've never seen one like that. I've owned and been around 275 single cams most of my life. That of course isn't definitive, but I'm guessing that's not a stock 275 or at least doesn't have the stock carbs I've ever seen.

That was my immediate thought. The red piece on the valve covers, and the slash cut headers are a pretty big clue. Looks like an F2001 motor to me - missing the airbox and the rainshower fuel rail, as well as the cam drives of course...

Well, remember Mr. Henn owned/owns one of 4 275GTB/C's.

Might the carbs have been a competition modification?

Hey, if the Wu-Flu doesn't have the place shut down i can go take a few more pix...assuming i can find a haz mat suit, goggles, a respirator, boots, gloves and a sterile rinse down upon my return...

s/n 6885 owned by the late Preston Henn is a 275 GTB/Competizione Speciale has a dry sump engine and different carbs. The carbs on the engine in the photo(a wet sump) appear to be Weber 40 DCN 20/21.

Henn put an engine from a road going 6 carb 275 GTB in 06885 when the original engine became tired.

According to Marcel Massini Preston Henn put 275 GTB engine #08029 in 06885 temporarily so this could be it.
