    Mine was inside the centre air vents. You'll need to remove the vents and you will see the part on a bracket which is attached with rivets.

    Well, it is located inside of the black box, that means you will have to open it up. It cannot be accessed through one of the holes on the sides or on top.

    Don't pull the dash. Reach inside and you'll feel it. I can see the wires in your picture.

    Find and follow the wires. It will lead you right to it.

    I had to remove this from a heating/cooling block that I already took out of the car and had to open the unit to remove it, there was no other access to it then to remove the black plastic bottom panel and reach for it. It was some work on the loose unit, about 8 screws had to be removed. I can image that it's a lot harder to do on a unit that's still behind the dashboard. I would recommend removing the entire dashboard (not that much work).

    It's attached to the bottom inside edge

    I did not need to remove the dash.
