Body specs as close to possible compared to what?
I mean the pictures show all the flaws that are typical obvious telltale signs to easily spot a replica from a real GTO from 100 feet away.

There are massive shoulders on the doors and so the door outer skin is totally different shape from real GTO door skin which has missing shoulders and almost uniform slight curvature for whole door skin as a notable real GTO identification feature.

The engine cover bonnet sits way too high and has a more curved side profile compared to real GTO which has engine cover bonnet that sits much lower and starts its straight wedge like slope downwards from a point surprisingly far back closer to the windshield also as a notable real GTO feature.

I have understood that you are building a custom chassis as well and so maybe you are not forced to follow the replica flaws as they to my understanding come from having a chassis frame that is too wide at the doors so the shoulders are necessary to make the body too wide to match the chassis that is too wide.

That was a weird 1st post, sounds like competition trying to make you look bad.

apparently he's a professional at building these cars. Rod Temparo would be the only one I would trust right now in judgement.

A 1963 250 GTO will be quite a departure from this (from Iconic Rod & Custom Facebook page):
