I was watching our Mayor last night and it became clear this lock down is going to be for at least 2 months.... Definitely going to need to go for some drives up to the hills soon. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
I’m willing to bet it won’t last that long, not even the full month. That’s if it’s not actually enforced by the police, which they said it won’t.
Unfortunately this will not be the case..... You just have to look at the the 1918 Spanish flu to get a better understanding of why they are taking these measures. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
It's actually a misdemeanor to violate it, they said at this time they won't enforce it but will if necessary in the future.
Los Angeles is doomed no matter what, I bet over 80% the city gets infected, here's why: Based on the 2010 census data, Los Angeles had a density of 7,544.6 people per square mile (2,910/square kilometer). While it's the second-most populous urban area, Los Angeles is the single most densely populated area in the United States.Feb 17, 2020 That's denser than New York, it's just a matter of time before we all get it, most won't know it or just have mild symptoms and will be fine.
I personally I think that 20 - 30%of us already had it and thought it was the flu. Los Angeles is a melting pot for international travellers including Asians, Italians and Persians. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
100% agree, I have had a mild cold for the last 15 days, I'm almost back to 100% now, I'll never know for sure but I did self-quarantine when it started a couple weeks before the government orders. There are now 2 strains of it a mild strain and a severe stain, this is causing some people to get it twice.
I hope we get the mild strain unlike Italy that clearly got the full version. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
As we know there is a lot of self-entitlement in LA, I can see lots of people breaking the rules, another reason why LA has no chance.
Yep, let's hope we only have the mild strain until a vaccine is developed. I did see a study this morning out of Taiwan that said high doses of vitamin c at the onset play a big part of recovery time, so just like the flu.
Garcetti said they are opening up shelters, sounds like they will all be crammed inside a building now and are 100% sure to get it.
Anyone else think there a political agenda with this? Something stinks with this whole thing. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Yes I would think that socializing aspect is a no-no. However; 1) I am pretty sure if you were driving behind me you can't catch it. 2) You are allowed to go hiking as long you exercise social distancing. 3) I will drive my F-car up to the hill for small hike and then I will return. Never going to happen ! People will break the rules to save their business . I give it 2 weeks tops before you start seeing people venturing out more and more. If my business was on the line they would need to take me away in handcuffs before I let it go under .
Whilst you may think this, however if customers are not out then who are you going to trade with. Example of non essential; 1) Hairdresser 2) Bar 3) Elective surgery 4) Retail clothing shop Certainly some very tough times. I just feel sorry for all of the people that have lost their jobs. I have kept 10 of my staff on on LA and I will pay them for the next 3 months of I have too. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
