Hey all, after what felt like a FOREVER wait (actually, it was only 4 days), she's finally arrived!

Originally I didn't like the wheels, but the grew on me when she got here. However after taking her out for a 45 min spin last night, the front wheels rub when cutting the wheel all the way and the ride quality of 20" wheels in the Northeast I'm not sure my wife can deal with. Tires are 255/30/20 in front and 325 25/20 in rear. Questions... do you think spacers would help the front rubbing? Or should I just seek out OEM silver 5 spokes? Anyone wanna trade wheels? LOL

The stock or CS wheels look great on an F430...or maybe Scud or 16M wheels would look great also....

Look at the parts section here and buy a set of challenge wheels. Looks and performance both.

I’m not a big fan of black wheels. Add in the rubbing, the rough ride and you say your wife won’t like it. I’d go back to stock.

OEM silver in whichever form would look sooo much better than black.

Only my opinion but I would ditch the black wheels and go for the silver challenge wheels. They just look so good on the 430 and 360 for that matter. Otherwise beautiful car! Congratulations

Here’s a pic today (finally above 50). I think I agree that I would like the silver OEM or Challenge wheels better. Now I just need to find a decent set that aren’t crazy money since “She Who Must Be Obeyed” isn’t signing off on anything big right now...

Beautiful Ferrari! I like the wheel design you currently have. If not damaged they could be refinished in the color of your choice for short money.
Just bought a set of 19" CS/Challenge Wheels with new 0 mile tires for short money. Low mile take offs. Not a good market out there!
Good friend just installed Scud wheels on his 430 spider. Look great!

I would re-color them but in addition to the color the fact they are 20's are an issue as well. I'd LOVE to find a set of OEM CS 19" wheels, hard to come by they seem!

I don't see a reason for changing the wheels, your Spider looks perfect with the black ones!

Fender rubbing is obviously not good. It’s at the very least annoying, and if you drive the car like it’s meant to be driven, it can be dangerous. You definitely do not want fender rubbing to occur when anywhere near the handling limit, upsetting the car’s balance In a turn.

Using spacers or raising the car is a band-aid fix that only works so long as you don’t drive hard, and it looks bad and makes the car handle worse. I would first look into whether rolling the fenders would give you enough clearance. If not, then going back to OEM or OEM size/offset wheels is probably the best choice. The car’s ride and handling will likely improve, and plenty of modern tires come in OEM sizes. On resale (I know you just got the car, so that’s a long time into the future, and congrats, btw!), your car will likely be worth more with OEM wheels.
