What would cause that in a T? Is that the CV joints I have read about in the past or something else?

If turning on smooth surface and hearing knock, I would guess cv joint.
If knocking with even small bump, I would guess CA bushings.

I have heard posi chattering so bad it sounded like a knock and posi noise is the worst at low speeds. May also be a sway bar bushing. Control arm bolts are supposed to be tightened at services. Almost never done and in our TR it will make a loud knock when a bushing rotates due to a bolt not being tight enough.
