Anyone ditch the factory seats for something else. I find them uncomfortable and dated. Has anyone found a good alternative that is more comfy. I was toying with the idea of 430 seats but they are about $3-4k used so thought some Recaros, or a Sparco seat my be better. Please share what you have done or would suggest - thanks.

I went with the CF 458/Scud sport seats, tan leather w/red stitching. They look great and they are very comfortable. BUT, they aren't cheap. I have my set still and would let them go for $10K but nothing less. Do a quick search and you will see a lot of pics. I even posted some of my car before I sold the car (with stock seats).

And yes, some have used the Sparcos as well. There are threads on that too.

10k is a little rich for my blood, but I am sure the seats are fantastic - I also have a 430 and those seats are tolerable but far from ideal...lol. I would like a comfortable option. I like some of the Recaros like sportsers below in bucket or adjustable configuration.

I have ordered a set of seats from Braum Racing seats for my 360. They are very good to work with and have a bespoke dept. where you can customize your seats. They won't be delivered till the end of April. Will post pictures when installed.

John’s 458 seats looked absolutely killer in his 360.
Sadly I couldn’t justify the $ at the time and bought his car with the stock seats. ;)

I have had Sporster CS before. Sat too high.

I now have 458 CF Seats.

Nice - where did you source your 458 seats. It seems like they are at least 8k. I have been looking around. That would be the ideal solution but pricey and this is more of a budget build.

Been thinking of going with the Recaro Sportster CS also and found a site through the forums that has the correct rails that allows the seat to be even more lowered than the stock. As another post described it perfectly, you sit on the 360 seats not in the seat which is what I feel in my car. I will try to find the link and post. I believe I tried the Sportster seat while test driving a Honda Civic Type R and found them supportive and comfortable. Although the 458 seat is beautiful I personally found them not as comfortable and hard.

My 458 seats are very comfortable. I have Sportster CSs in my R8, and they're fine too. Wouldn't say one is more comfortable than the other. Easier to get in with the 458 seats though!

The carbon seats are surprisingly comfortable - I've driven in them an hour and a half with no adverse effect. The key to good seats is the shape, not the amount of padding.

I wonder why you do not like the Daytona seats. Some of the best looking ever and fit me like a glove. Maybe you are real big or small do not fit in the seat?

For a tall person the 'roll' around the outer edge pushes your shoulders WAY forward so you end up hunched over.

I fit the seats well, but the seats in some of my other cars are much more comfortable. There is just not much cushion in comparison with a lot of other sport seats. They do provide great lateral support and are a decent all around seat. My m3 has way better seats although in fairness is a new car.

Sparco EVO II in mine. This was while fitting them. Really comfortable and 20kg saved per side. Cheapest weight saving mod of all. Wife doesn’t like them...
