https://www.ferrariofsandiego.com/used-San+Diego-2006-Ferrari-430-Base-ZFFEW59A260149422 carfax showing accident reported- moderate damage! arent they selling this like a clean title car? It should be $75-80k max right? They wont budge under 90k. what am i missing?
It really doesn't matter what it's worth if they won't go below $90k. To them, it's worth that. I suggest holding onto your cash for 30 days. See what happens.
We've been at this very place before. They did this back in 2008 as well. They think the car is worth $90k+. I'd bet they're going to have a hard time finding someone to cough up that cash with current events. Save the money and approach them again in 30-60 days.
What is the criteria for a "moderate" accident? "Car did not break in half"? "Fire only consumed 1/4 of vehicle"?
"Minor accident" OK maybe. "Moderate" accident. I agree, run Forrest run. Red / tan 430 with 31K miles. Not exactly a rare low mileage car. Plenty of 430s to choose from in that category.
As a comparison, I just a month ago bought a 2006 F430 Spider, same specs and colors as yours, exactly 30k on the odo, for $95k. Mine has a clear carfax, 91% left on clutch, new F1 pump and SLine exhaust installed. Aftermarket stereo (thank God) and aftermarket 20" black wheels (wish I had the OEM 19s). I also had the dealer pay for the PPI ($1k), a second key ($1k) and shipping from FL to RI, so take from that what you will. Again, that was before all this craziness happened. I'm sure it's gotta be worth a bit less now. Hope that helps.
I just bought a silver 2007 Spider with 20K mi in nearly perfect cond. It is a CPO and has existing factory warranty bought bythe dealer. Two keys new stereo $90K
I just recently purchased my 2008 F430 a few weeks ago. During my research I noted prices vary allot based on mileage and dealer installed options. My work showed the market ask price for a 2007 with 12K miles is ~$109K.... I think with 30K miles it would be around $95K so with the damage history you mention, I would suggest get a clear car and pay the extra $10K, You will definitely retain the $10k when you sell it and have the comfort it was never damaged...
when you guys are quoting these prices you have to include if a car has aftermarket headers and original f1 actuator. if a car has oem headers and original f1 actuator i wld take 12K off the ask price right of the bat. for 2007s ceramic brakes is also a few K dollar differentiator.
