Yep sort of,RHR wheelbearing had started to fail so I didn't do the trackday, mind you I had driven it down from Atherton.
Fair enough. Maybe you should have asked his wife to drive you. Might have had a different experience...
Your memory is failing... recent Qld nationals were 2002, 2009, 2015 . Are you talking about the 330 or 365?
No surprise this is in Queensland https://www.graysonline.com/lot/0003-50006004/classic-cars/ferrari-f360-tribute-car-wovr-inspected
Last rally I did....**** that was funny. No one knew who SD or I were I've never won the RD trophy though....that's a proper achievement Image Unavailable, Please Login
Beautiful curves and an exhaust note that has no rival nothing more needs to be said Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I agree wholeheartedly with your last sentence except in needs to be in the past tense. Used to include track, concourse, competitive drive day, at least 1 if not 2 other point scoring events (WA from memory in 2005 had a hillclimb and a 1/4 mile drag). These days, the field is limited to ‘plate’ eligible cars who enter the track day.
.........and rally participation, and if you're a nice guy, hence TrevorD winning so often PP would never get one on that basis
Really? The 09 Qld Rally Ron Davis Trophy was judged on Concourse, Track Day, Navigation run with answers (which I did solo) and the motorkhana (which I won outright). Gee I love my car. Image Unavailable, Please Login
LOL! 2009 isn't 'these days'! Yes, you won it when it was really an 'ironman' or 'ironcar' event! BTW, I'm not having a dig at any of the recent winners (I know there's at least 1 here) as they won it fair and square under the rules on the day... but the rules used to be different.
