Trying to remove the side mirror glas from the mirrors, it feels like I'm going to break the glass.

I'm trying to put in a small screwdriver with a sock on it (to protect), and trying to find the right place to bend it so the glass will snap off.

I can't see the construction, so I don't know if it's any hooks or locks that I need to be unlocked.

Anyone that has removed the glass, that could give me some pointers?
Maybe pictures on how the glass looks and how the motor in the mirror looks, so I can get an idea of how the glass snaps to the mirror motor.

holy crap. that's a horrible job the 1st time i tried it.
the construction is..... a paw that clings to the side of the glass.
use a small flat head screwdriver and start with the outside corner. once one clip is unleashed, you can wiggle around and see if the other 3 will fall.
sometimes you'll damage the plastic paw. so just be aware.
i'll shoot a pic of after the glass is removed if you remind me 10 hours later . im too tired to do anthing now

    Thanks for the pictures!

So if I got this right, there is actually 8 clips that holds the mirror to the motor base?
But I only need to unclip 2-4 of them to be able to wiggle the glass and get it removed.
The only way to get in there with a screwdriver seems to be from the outer side while having the glass angled at much at possbile against the inner part of the mirror. It's really hard to see what you are doing, trying to get the screwdriver at the right place and having a flashlight to try and see where the clips are...

Maybe it would be easier to make a tool that could get hold of the clips and pull them back a bit, I assume it's not easy with a flat screwdriver.

I'll have a look when get home from work.

Just curious. Why are you removing the mirror glass?

buy a flat screw driver. bent it(using hand). If you can't use your hand to bent it, buy another one.
it's better to have another person to do the flashlight for you.

yes. 8 paws and only a maybe after 2-4 paws were unclipped, you can wiggle them out

Mirror glass is now removed, only 6 of 8 paws left. They broke very easily.

    Thanks for the help!

Where did you buy a replacement motor? My mirrors do not work either.

lots of other marques are using identical motors
I can't remember what I used but the motor is pretty much ubiquitous.
go to any junk yard with and open up any mirror, 50% chance of hitting the same motor

u can go to ebay and search "mirror motor" or something like that and see which one matches the appearance of your removed ferrari mirror motor

I can’t find any YouTube videos on removing Ferrari side mirror glass but there are loads of videos on removing every other brand mirror glass. Looks like they just grab the glass and pull it off. It just pops off.

Not the case for the 360 huh?
