You aren't kidding! My G55 probably gets half the MPG as my F430.

It’s been lowered to Scud specs. That’s as low as I can go unless I want to do a lift system.

Make sure the rear wing doesn't lift the front! ;)

I like your project and your passion, thanks for sharing your work. Even if the rear wing is a little bit too much for my taste, your car looks amazing.

Not 100% sold on the front hood, but loving the overall look of the car. This is something I definitely want to do(once I actually buy the car), including the wing.

    Wrap so soon after repaint?
My painter says wait at least 6 months before wrapping/PPF after new paint, otherwise the paint risks getting damaged.
He even had a insurance job on a brand new Lexus that got PPF before first delivery, paint got damaged under the PPF
The company that did the PPF made a mistake and also admitted that they should have advised to owner to wait for paint to settle.

3m suggests 3 weeks. It’s been 5 I believe and the shop baked it for awhile. Neither shop had a problem with it. I’d say you’d have issues if the car wasn’t properly prepped and painted correctly.

Wow,only 3 weeks. Maybe US is still using something that is not allowed in the EU, then.
The Lexus was painted at the factory and transported to the EU, it took a lot longer than 5 weeks and it still ended up damaged.

Anyway, hope it works out for you.
    Like your mods! Looks great.

How did they Lexus get damaged? Did they apply it then try to lift to adjust?

I had the same happen to my old Nsx. It was painted and I immediately had xpel clear bra put on, except the installer was an idiot. He applied it over some dirt then tried to remove it the next day and it pulled up a dime sized piece of paint.

6 months is of course recommended but no one waits that long or you’ll be covered in rock chips.

From what I understood, the early PPF installation encapslued the paint that wasn't fully cured (couldn't breath), so the paint bubbled under the PPF and the whole car had to be repainted.
