I wld think 800k buys a nice tdf but i havent tried. 650 to 700k for an overspecced car

Dustman what are your current bid levels? Im guessing lower

Lowest asked price for a TdF on mobile.de is EUR 760K - although it's at Joe Macari's in London it's a LHD car.

I see prices coming off their highs, as many of you pointed out, due to current conditions. Might it be a buying opportunity, as a possible, future collectible?

I think an often unmentioned variable in the perceived value/collectibility of the tdf is the success of the upcoming 812vs.

I think it’s safe to assume that the 812vs will be technically superior. With that in mind, if the 812vs is regarded as a beautiful design then it’s going to be the ultimate limited edition, naturally aspirated v12 to have and keep.

Regardless, I will always adore the tdf, much like the 599gto. Each of these cars limited edition v12’s is lovely and unique in its own way.

The TDF reminds of the 275GTB a classic beauty with a great V12.

Disregarding value, I can’t think of a front engine V12 built between the two of them I’d rather own except maybe an Aperta SA.

The pricing may soften in the short term but will be back at over a $Million as soon as the V12’s go turbo or hybrid.

LARRYH - Did you get your TdF? Values are approaching if not already at the 800 mark. I find it interesting to read back through these old 'value' threads.

    Hey all -

I've been looking for a year at TdF's and have found a spec I've been eyeing for awhile now. It appears from my inaccurate tracking that prices have softened. The problem is asking versus sale price can be very different. I am hoping that some of you may have direct knowledge of pricing of sold TdF's. If so, would you mind sharing (at least a range) - PM is fine as well. Any info on the car - color, mileage - would be helpful as well. From my 'gut' I would not be surprised to see some sales in the mid to high-700's and into the low to mid-800's. But I have no proof of this.

    Thank you all in advance!

£550k will get you a good one here. They were selling for £800k two years ago.

Very nice car, but there were quite a few made, and there are so many 812s around now, more than 30 for sale in the UK alone, plus the GTS and all the rest. Plus COVID, Greta Thunberg, and so on.

So you guys are able to make sense of that word salad? I read it a couple times and it’s still puzzling to me.
