I’m gonna go with that’s what it’s worth. I sold my 2012 no story Nero / Nero 21,000 miles 335k list for 170 ~ 2 years ago. Best , Kirk.

With those bad seats and Black wheels, i think the price is realistic.

They couldn’t even vacuum the carpet for photography? What does that say about the rest of the care of the car? Just askin’.

So many factors at play when a car drops in value... cash flow needs from the owner, dealer inventory, the market, car being damaged in some way while listed for sale, etc.

I’ll never sell my 458 so I really don’t care about prices, but such a huge drop in asking price makes me suspicious. Practice due diligence now more than ever. PPI and your own personal detective work in terms of history and maintenance.

At the slightest suspicion, walk away. There are a few 458 out there for sale. I drive mine. I also happen to keep mine in such a pristine condition that I have trouble with owners who abuse their cars. You can and should use it, but take care of it in the same proportion. There are others out there like me, so there are great pre owned 458s out there.

Not saying this car is no good. I know nothing about it. Just saying such a drop in asking price usually means desperation or a damaged unit.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

Looks like a couple of the buttons might be a little sticky....
An added cost to the purchaser (in money and time to have repaired).

I feel sorry for the person who has to buy an item like this based on cost alone.

Usually depends: time, moist, sunlight, heat. Difficult to say. Mine is a 2011, no stickies whatsoever.

    Kind regards,

Am I missing something? Where's the "price drop"?.....a price drop is when they try to sell it for $210K then drop it to $169K.....this isn't the case....they're just stating the fictional KBB value.....it's farily priced and can likely be had for $160-162.....

    A) who trades in a Ferrari for a Honda?

    B) price drip seems erroneous

    C) I’d leave alone

A price drop doesn't mean much when it was overpriced to begin with. It's usually hard to tell from photos, but in this case I would say that car looks beat on. $168K could easily be too much.

CarGurus appears to track prices and showed this as a drop from $205k over a 6 month period. I’m not sure how accurate that tracking is?

what gets most buttons stick is actually bad detailing. Usually any use of alcohol or ammonia based cleaners will cause this! Be careful what you clean your car with ... Always use ammonia free window cleaners, and do not spray anything inside the car .. always apply any safe cleaners to a rag, and wipe ... avoid any of the rubberized plastics at all costs ! Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high ambient temps will also do this.

For everyone using sanitizer regularly these days, dont touch your buttons until you clean your hands off with water wipes , or give it time to dry out ..

The car is almost at 20k miles, the leather on the interior of the car looks to be in pretty bad shape from the pics, the leather is starving and dry, you can tell the previous owner tried to clean it up but used some cheap ass leather conditioner and it didn’t do anything other than make it worse. At 20k miles you can expect to do some heavy maintenance. Other than the Scuderia shields, the carbon fiber steering wheel and the red stitching, the car is basic and there’s nothing special about it. I would take it up to the nearest Ferrari dealer and get a PPI on it.

Can't you find a better deal than this? I would be surprised if you can't. That car looks like most of the mileage was done cruising up and down some strip. The interior looks very worn.

CORONA. That's the reason. There will be deals last min when someone needs to move it. This car won't last that long - now that it's been posted here. For those that still are sleeping on a nice bed of cash :)

It does look a bit worn, but killer price. I thought the main way (besides cleaners) the buttons wore out was from touching them with the oils on your fingers....
