Had the time to give the engine a blow over with compressed air and gave it a wipe down.
Not bad for a 30 year old, unrestored engine bay if I do say so myself.

As you may remember I’ve been replacing the plastic fuel injection lines using the kit sold by Unobtainium Supply. This was a fiddly, challenging job but I’m happy to say that, after about 30 hours, the job is done!

One surprising fact: the original 32-year-old fuel lines were still pliable with no signs of cracking or swelling, even when I cut one open.

Gave it an upper bunk in my garage.

Thanks to Peter Imbimbo of Car Lifts Plus, I now have a Backyard Buddy Four Post Lift. Works flawlessly and fits the 991 Turbo S in the lower berth and the 328 GTS in the upper berth just perfectly. All this in a garage with a ceiling height of only 9'4".

Peter and his team did the installation, testing and troubleshooting in under three hours. The lift was packaged beautifully with no mars, scratches or rust. Backyard Buddy was the ideal solution for the limited ceiling height. I had a Lift Master 8500W garage door opener installed prior to Peter's arrival. I can't say enough about Peter's professionalism and level of service. He is a great resource for all of us.

Replaced the air injection hose from the air pump to the diverter valve. Original hose cracked when I removed the air pump to install stainless steel plugs where the rear bank exhaust analyzer tubes are installed. I purchased 3 feet of FC-647-12 black cloth covered hose from this site:
    https://teaguecustommarine.com/em0011/12-fc647-cloth-braid-hose
I cut to fit the hose after I reinstalled the air pump. I had to use some silicone spray on the diverter valve side of the hose to slip it on the fitting. Tensioned belt based on 78 owner’s manual.

After reading one of the other threads, decided to clean up my targa top. A previous owner had decided it would look good to badly spray paint it black, so after carefully paint stripping it and then using some fibreglass conditioner, came up great Image Unavailable, Please Login

    Then the stripper went on

Then used a fairly soft scraper to remove the softened paint

Image Unavailable, Please Login The E brake on my 82 308 was engaging a bit high, indicator of adjustment needed. So I adjusted the rear brakes today… You can get to the outside adjustment without removing the wheel. The E break engagement is a bit lower now.

Moved the 308 into its new garage! My family and I moved into a different home in the same neighborhood where we’d been living. I was able to keep the 308 at the old house while I worked on the garage at the new place. I finished and painted the drywall then did an epoxy floor. I went with one of those kits from Lowes... Really happy with the way it turned out. Prep work was a colossal pain, but I think it was worth it. Just hope it holds up! The top picture is a not-very-good before pic. I also ordered a Ferrari flag that should fit nicely on the wall above.

"De-quarantined" or "de-confined" my 328 GTB to go to to the supermarket.
You are allowed a one-hour sortie to buy "essential provisions"; I bought 24 half-a-litre beer cans, and 6 kilos of cat food (a cat has had the good idea to have her babies at my home...). Should I have been asked, I could easily have explained that I can't be expected to carry 12 kilos of beer and 6 kilos of cat food on a 1 kilometer walk. The 25 kms on the odometer (15 miles) for a two kms walk would have been more difficult to explain...and the stockpile of beer cans in the house, too...
For the first time in years in the North-East of France, it has not rained at all for five weeks, and you are not allowed to drive the cars...how ironic.
The car was happy; me too.
