From what people are saying production will end in 2021 and I think ferrari produce around 10k units per year across all model lines but I am not sure of the split between mid engine v8s and other models. Do you know how many pistas have been produced?

Standard wheels look cleaner but the forged ones have grown on me and I ordered them on the spider.

Whenever a dealer insists that you add expensive options, his excuse will always be that the car will be easier to sell upon trade in. I have had different sales reps contradict one another. With few exceptions, add the options you want and save your money on those you don’t.

Not unexpected...but, thanks for the heads up. I wish my dealer would quit telling me what he thinks I want to hear with regard to timeline of my F8 order. While he likely doesn't really know, telling me things are still on track at the factory have me believing him even less.

Opening date makes little difference, as disruption to supply chain will be the critical factor.

Great emailing with you Arnie! Enjoy the beautiful car in good health. Let us know how the F8 compares with your previous Ferraris, especially the 488.

It’s in the system for the first allocation from my dealer. Dealer estimated delivery by year end assuming factory reopens in the next month. Who knows....

Could not be including Ferrari NA V12 in that opinion. Sound is important in a supercar. Its very important to Ferrari.

Fingers crossed its by year end, I have a UK allocation in the first 25 car from the dealer but, I'm beginning to wonder if they will be able to build all these F8s as people keep saying production will end in 2021 and production capacity is not over 10,000 units across all model lines I think. I'm sure you will receive your car as its such an early allocation but not sure about all the reat say cars scheduled for 18 months from now
