My car had the fuel line recall done as part of the purchase agreement. As such, I was not worried about a potential fuel hose problem and fire. But this while examining the rear lift gas struts I noticed this: The left strut apparently may be rubbing against one of the fuel lines. Not good! No damage to the fuel line but it didn't give me a good feeling. It could be from something else, but it's worth passing on and checking, IMO.

This problem has been identified on the forum before. It was one factor that made me decide not to have the recall carried out on my car (that and the fact that I have a good tech that knows how to install the clamps properly on the old fuel lines).
