Is it the mounting posts that are cracked or the lenses

If you are talking about the posts...
Check out the tail lights available from Scud Ing Swiss. In either case, I’d suggest reinforcing the posts with one of the aftermarket kits found on eBay.

On the other hand you might try repairing the posts on your current tail lights with the below kit

Check eurospares.com, I have a pair of after markets and they’re different than the OEMs, I should’ve spent the extra money to get the OEM. Don’t make my mistake

Where did you obtain your aftermarket tail lights that you are unhappy with?

Just to link up some of the options:
    Superformance offers OEM and aftermarket:
http://www.superformance.co.uk/360/lights.html (I'm unsure if any of these would work for USA/CDN cars as the part numbers do not match)
    Scuding Swiss offers aftermarket:
    https://www.scuding.com/Shop/en/rear-lights-optical-clusters/18-rolu43c-f430-light-cluster-clear.html

Eurospares only sells oem it appears:

    Ricambi America sells oem:

If its just the single short post which is cracked you can repair this by cutting it back and tapping out and fitting a stud bar. I did this after i found a loose light- did all 4 and no problem in 5 years.

Here’s a pic of the Scud Ing Swiss aftermarket taillight vs OEM. The only noticeable difference is the lettering on the lens.

My originals had cracks, which I repaired with one of the available reinforcing kits. That worked well, but I decided since I was going with the Scud Ing Swiss LEDS that I would try the aftermarket lights. I don’t think they will last longer than the OEMs due to the design, but they are a lot cheaper, so replacing every eleven years or so is a bit more palatable.

I did save my reinforced OEMs in the event I want to go back to them at some point in the future.

Ive had the Scuding Swiss lights for a year and the inner light -drivers side top post cracked. Use one of the reinforcing kits first. I took all 4 back out when the one cracked and used one of the kits on all of them.

Appreciate the heads up Bob. I’ll have to get another reinforcing kit on order.
